Better Late than Never!

Jake's Birthday Party!

I promised Jake a long time ago that I would post his picture to our blog. Well, obviously I dropped the ball and didn't get it done. So I figured I would do it now.

It was so funny to watch them open presents. All the boys were so excited. They couldn't wait to see if Jake liked what they got him. The best part was that he got four nerf guns that were exactly the same and one that was very similiar. In truth I loved getting that many guns. He can play with his cousins and friends and they all can have a gun and there is no fighting!

We took the boys bowling. It was really fun. They all had so much fun they didn't want to leave. I recommend going bowling for a birthday party....fun and cheap!

I think most of the boys would have loved staying a playing soccer. Who know that an unfinished basement could turn into such a great soccer field!

The best part of the party was seeing how happy it made Jake. I had promised Jake a birthday party for almost a year, but decided I wasn't going to give him one. Well I found out that we was inviting kids to a party that didn't exist. One kid he invited to go to Chuckie Cheese and two other kids he invited to go to the movie "Mall Cop". So needless to say I decided at the last minute when parents were calling me and asking me about these parties that I had better put one together!
