Jake's Birthday Party with Friends!!

Jake's 8th Birthday Party!! Jake has been planning his party all year. We were having a hard time trying to figure out what to do for it. We knew he was going to have quite a few boys, so we knew it had to be something that would accommodate a lot of boys. We first thought about going to Layton Surf n Swim but then I got a little nervous taking that many boys to a swimming area. Then we thought about about going tubing, but Jake didn't want that. Jake suggested going to a Jazz game (Yeah Right!), then it dawned on us to take them to a Weber State Basketball game!!!

17 Boys and 4 dads all watching the game. It was wonderful, all I had to do was provide the pizza and doughnuts and then Brent got to do the rest! Thanks heavens for the other three dads that volunteered to go up there and help!!

I'm sure the people sitting by them were not the happiest people around, but I was!!

Jake and Hayden made posters for all the boys (and one cute little girl). They came up with the phraze WEBER STATE ROCKS!! Brent tried to get a picture of them holding up the sign but I guess it was next to impossible! At least he tried.

All in all it turned out pretty good with 17 kids! Jake had a blast and that's what matters the most! Hopefully we are done for another two years or I guess until Ellie's birthday.......but she won't have that many kids to her party!
