Jake was lucky enough to be able to be baptized of his birthday. His birthday is on January 8th and because the new year fell on the first saturday of the month, the baptisms were moved back to the second saturday of the month! I tried to convince him to have his baptism in February but he insisted that it be on his birthday! It ended up being a pretty great day! 
Two hours before his baptism Jake came to me and asked if we could move his baptism to February. Not a chance!! Jake's is funny, he over thinks things. He started getting worried about how to place his arms during the baptism. worried about the water tempature, worried about not going all the way under the water. He tried to convince Brent and I that we need to go early so he could get use to the water.
Jake did wonderful and was so happy. Brent did an amazing job. Even though he barely got Jake all the way under the water. I think his nose almost skimmed the top of the water! Gald to have it over with now but what a special day.
